325 ducklings survived the 19 degree celcius weather conditions. We administered some duck plegue vaccinations last week. They are 500-600 kilo now. per day they consume about 1-2 taka worth of feed. 365*300=109500 taka will be spent to feed the 300 birds in a year. they will start laying eggs at 5th month and continue for 7 months. Therefore 7*30=210. 210*300*3=189000. 210 days multiplied by 300 birds by 3 taka per egg will fetch 189000-100000= 100000 taka gross profit. Of course we will have to cut the management cost, losses by theft, natural causes, capital costs etc. But if we raise the number of birds. The yield will be higher.

We bought 600 duckling at taka 10 apiece. We constructed a 450 sq feet house to raise them with 70000 taka. The birds are feeding on 1000 taka feed per week. They will be fed with these starter and grower feed for 12 weeks. 12000 taka will be on the feed for 325 bird. (did I mention 300 birds died because of poor brooding conditions)? I will raise them for eggs. They will start laying eggs at the maturity of three months. I will sell each egg at 3 taka apiece. 300 egs I expect each day.
